Superhero Bedroom Makeover

I have three, superhero-lovin' boys and they all three share one bedroom! So, what better way to decorate than in the superhero theme!?
I really don't have a before picture, but it was just plain... No fun at all.

Here are some pics of the process :)

I used painters tape to create a New York City night scape! Soooo simple! I literally cut out squares of tape to tape off the windows, and painted with a roller. Then, when the tape was removed, I used a craft brush to sharpen my lines a bit and filled in some of the windows with yellow paint.

I painted an old chippy dresser using flat black spray paint and added spider webs here and there with white acrylic paint and a craft brush.

This consignment toy box was painted with flowers and girly colors, so I gave it a coat of black and some webs and it was boy-worthy!

A Spiderman wall decal (purchased for less than $20 from Amazon) was the perfect touch! Oh, and I can't leave out the galvanized trash can we use as a toy bin for the larger toys! Perfect for the city scene!

I will share photos of the other side of the room soon! With three beds, I am still trying to get creative. :)

XOXO,
Ashley
