How to clean a microfiber couch

Another Pinterest project!! I have two young children and they sure know how to stain furniture!!! Spills (and bodily fluids of all kinds) come daily at our house. I am not the type of Mom that won't let her kids eat or drink in the living room... I'm just not. A living room is for living, in my opinion, and I want my family and friends to feel comfortable. We watch movies, eat popcorn and drink Coke and Cocolate milk all on the confort of our couch. Call me crazy, but I feel no motivation to cry over spilled milk... literally.

Anyway, I found a blog post about how to clean microfiber, so I just had to try it!

What you need: Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, a sponge, a scrub brush

***Test an area first... just in case!

All you have to do is spray down the area you are cleaning with the rubbing alcohol. Scrub with the sponge until the spots are gone. It does take elbow grease! Then go over the entire area lightly with the scrub brush to bring it back to its original texture. Now, allow to dry. This does not take long, since the alcohol evaporates quickly.

I went back over the are with the scrub brush again after it dried to "fluff" it back up again.Take a look at the before and after pics below! I still cant believe the difference!

I was a little embarrassed to put my before pictures, but I knew it was neccessary for you to get the full effect. So, here they are. As if you can't see the massive stains, I pointed out the major ones. The funniest part is that my youngest contributor of stains (amoung others) is also in the picture. = D

Ewww!!

Now for the big reveal......

So, it takes a lot of elbow grease, but it is totally worth the effort!!
